Course Content
The objective is to acquire knowledge of the institutional elements of the general part of administrative law, with particular reference to organisational aspects. To this end, it will be necessary to become familiar with the relevant legislation and with some significant jurisprudential materials.

Learning Objectives
A) to single out the peculiarities of public administration; B) to survey the legal/administrative dimension of the phenomena to be considered in concrete terms from time to time.
Prerequisites
In order to sit for the exam, students have to had passed the exams of Diritto costituzionale generale (Constitutional law – general part) and Diritto private I (Private law I).
Teaching Methods
A) Traditional classroom lectures.
B) Attending students will be offered the opportunity to write brief papers, which will receive individual critique.

Type of Assessment
Final exam for credit: The exam administered to both attendees and others includes a written test consisting of a set of questions with a “multiple choice” answer, aimed at verifying the candidate’s level of knowledge of institutional data and understanding of fundamental notions. The test will last a maximum of 20 minutes. The test will be corrected at once, followed by an oral exam unless the outcome of the written test is so negative as to warrant discontinuance.

Powers, acts and administrative procedure. Responsibility/liability of public administrations. Constitutional principles in the matter of jurisdictional protection with regard to the public administration.
